The Majipreneurs Alliance is committed to making majipreneursalliance.org usable for as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.
Our standard
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA for public pages. This includes:
- Semantic HTML structure and headings
- A skip link to main content
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, including the mobile menu
- Visible focus indicators on interactive elements
- Sufficient colour contrast using our brand palette
- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Responsive layout on common phone, tablet, and desktop sizes
Known limitations
We are aware of the following gaps and are working to improve them:
- Fonts: Baloo 2 and Quicksand are currently loaded from Google Fonts. Self-hosting is planned to improve privacy and reliability.
- PDF resources: Older or third-party PDFs may not be fully accessible. We encourage Secretariat editors to publish accessible PDFs where possible and to provide contact details for alternative formats.
- Third-party member websites: Links to partner sites are outside our control.
